The Buying Funnel

Sometimes the buying funnel is stated like this

  1. Awareness (consumers get to know about you).
  2. Interest (start thinking about benefits you can give them).
  3. Learn (get to know more about your product).
  4. Shop (customers compare different products).
  5. Buy (where to buy, prices)

Often keywords clearly indicate the phase.

I prefere a more simplified division of keywords:

  1. General keywords (e.g. permanent makeup).
  2. Comparative keywords (good permanent makeup salon, permanent makeup salon review).
  3. Transactional and geo keywords (permanent makeup price, permanent makeup in Paris).
